Quick, no-fuss canvas art

Nothing refreshes a space quite like large scale art or photos. I’ve used Photowall before & loved them – so that’s exactly who I turned to when I had a wall in my living room that needed some love.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you probably remember this wallpaper feature wall in my daughter’s room. It was my first time wallpapering and Photowall made it simple.

This wall project was no different. Here’s what it looked like before… I blew up a landscape image of a beach my family loves, but the glare from the frames never worked in this spot = underwhelming impact:

Here’s what it looks like now:

This post was sponsored by Photowall, but all opinions, ideas, tips & tricks are my own.

I could have picked any number of canvas prints, but this modern, Chi-town cityscape was my husband’s fave, and once in a while, we listen to our husbands (amiright, ladies : )

The site said they wouldn’t be shipping the canvas whole, but rather deconstructed (all pieces included). When I read that, I have to admit, I was skeptical. But I assure you, this place is legit, construction was a cinch & the final product… flawless.

Pieces & in-progress

This is how it arrived. The 4 sides, rolled up canvas & some simple hardware.
There is adhesive on the underside of those wood pieces that you simply stick to the edges.
Close-up of how you align the corners – basically edge to edge.
Next step is to roll them inward – super simple. Oh hiiiiiiiiii me all awkward.
Once rolled, they give you this corner hardware with screws that help to tighten the canvas a bit. Pretty crazy innovative if you ask me.
Closeup of the hardware. It boggles my mind that someone comes up with this stuff, and it’s so easy.

And voila. That’s it. If you’re looking for big impact (not big price), give this canvas art a try. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Happy decorating!
